Volunteer Opportunities

Please join us at the Nygren Wetland Preserve any Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon or Wednesdays from 9:00 - 5:00 p.m.  The Nygren Wetland is located at 3190 West Rockton Road, Rockton, Illinois.  The phone number at the Nygren Wetland office is 624-4143.

Please met at the red shed and wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, pants, and gloves.  Please be prepared to work outside and bring a snack and water.

Volunteer activities include seeding, exotic plant control and nursery and wetland planting.
