Nature Poetry & Prose is presented by NLI in partnership with Nature at the Confluence.
Be inspired by nature themed works while listening to writers read their creative compositions that commemorate their experiences and observations of the natural world.
Several writers who are featured in NLI’s anthology, NATURAL VOICES, will read selections from the book at the event and include: Carolyn Bailey, Mary Caskey, Carol Fox, Don Miller, Wilda Morris, Lani Richardson, Dr. Karen Ruffner, Christine Swanberg, and Kaitlyn Tibbetts. New to the line up this year is Katie Andraski. Read about the writers here.
Event Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Come early or by 6:30 p.m. to mingle. At 6:45 the program will start with welcoming remarks and announcements. Readings will begin at 7:00 p.m. and go until 8:15 p.m.
Admission: FREE for NLI members. $5.00 for non NLI members (includes a one-time six month introductory membership to NLI). Light snacks and beverages will be available including hot cider.

Copies of the NATURAL VOICES anthology will be available at the event for a $12 donation to NLI. Other books by some of the authors will also be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting NLI. Think about giving NATURAL VOICES as a gift – birthday, Christmas, or for any type of celebration!
