Virtual Book Discussion: “Bicycling With Butterflies” with the Author

November 16, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

A Virtual Book Discussion with Author, Sara Dykman, featuring her book, BICYCLING WITH BUTTERFLIES: My 10,201-Mile Journey Following the Monarch Migration

Natural Land Institute is honored to have author, Sara Dykman, lead the Virtual Book Discussion on Nov. 16, 2022 featuring her book, BICYCLING WITH BUTTERFLIES: My 10,201-Mile Journey Following the Monarch Migration. Sara will talk about her journey following the migration and writing the book, as well as guide the discussion and answer questions from participants.

The Discussion will be on Zoom starting at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately an hour and a half.

From Workman.com:  “Science, nature, and adventure come together in this riveting account of a solo bike trip along the migratory path of the monarch butterfly… Sara Dykman made history when she became the first person to bicycle alongside monarch butterflies on their storied annual migration… In Bicycling with Butterflies—praised as “poetic” (Publishers Weekly) and called “a collective cry for climate action” (Booklist)—Dykman recounts her incredible journey.”

Read about the book and author, and order it here or buy it at your favorite local bookstore so you can read it before the Virtual Book Discussion. Although, if you don’t get it all read by the time of the program, that’s ok. Join us anyway. But, you do have to register to get the Zoom link.

Registration is required for this free program.

Registrants will be sent a Zoom link on the day of the program, Nov. 16, by Kim Johnsen.

Send an email with your name to kjohnsen@naturalland.org to register before 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 16.
