Natural Land Insitute hosted an information booth about NLI and Bell Bowl Prairie at the Boone County Fair this week (Aug 9 – 14, 2022). We had kids activities and talked to people about the effort to save Bell Bowl Prairie. We invited people to fill out postcards to send to elected officials asking them to save Bell Bowl Prairie and had lots of fun in the process.
Kids got bumble bee stickers for participating. Heck, we gave stickers to anyone who wanted one!
There were photo opps with a giant Rusty-patched bumble bee.
Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped man the booth.
