Nature Poetry & Prose

Friday, September 28, 2018

The fifth annual Nature Poetry & Prose event is presented by NLI in partnership with Nature at the Confluence. We invite you to come and be inspired by nature themed works while listening to writers read their creative compositions that commemorate their experiences and observations of the natural world.

Writers that will be present at the event include: Carolyn Bailey, Dorothy Bock, Mary Caskey, Ed Collins, Sandra Fenton, Carol Fox, Wilda Morris, Christopher D. Sims, Christine Swanberg, Lani Richardson, and Dr. Karen Blake Ruffner.

The writers will read their contributions of works from the book, NATURAL VOICES: CELEBRATING NATURE THROUGH OPENED EYES. NATURAL VOICES is an anthology of poetry and prose from 14 authors that have been read by them at one of the past Nature Poetry & Prose events. The book, published by Natural Land Institute, will be debuted at the Sep. 28 (2018) event and will be available to buy for a $12 suggested donation. Writers who attend will sign copies following the program.
