2020 Wildflower Walkabout
We’re pleased to bring you our annual Wildflower Walkabout series in partnership with Severson Dells Nature Center.
Over the years these guided walking tours through area preserves have provided wonderful opportunities to learn about the flora and fauna of our region and social connections.
However, we have made some adjustments for this year’s schedule. We are committed to bringing these informative tours to you with your safety in mind. So, due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements this spring we will be presenting Wildflower Walkabouts by video until further notice.
Watch the weekly virtual Walkabout to see what’s growing, learn how to identify spring wildflowers, trees and other living things.
We encourage you to go out to the featured preserve to explore on your own another time (while practicing social distancing rules; also please check public access availability for some locations before you go).

Each week the video for the designated walk will be posted by 6 p.m. on the scheduled date. The series goes through Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
