Natural Land Institute’s Board of Trustees and committee members completed a Strategic Plan for 2024-2029 to help guide its work and fulfill its mission to create an enduring legacy of natural land in northern Illinois for people, plants and animals.
The Strategic plan describes the three primary programs of the land conservation organization: Land and Water Protection, Stewardship, and Engagement and Outreach. Each of the organization’s committees provided input for the objectives and strategies included in the plan: Land Conservation, Working Lands Subcommittee, Resource Development, Board Development/Governance, Finance, and Community Outreach & Engagement.
